At the same time, guests can enjoy a variety of excellent dining options nearby, ranging from traditional, affordable Greek tavernas to refined fine dining experiences in Agios Nikolaos and Kardamyli. In nearby Stoupa, you will also find convenient rental options for scooters, mountain bikes, cars, as well as SUP boards and kayaks—perfect for discovering the region at your own pace.
Your host: My name is Arto Klug. After completing Rapunzel’s Tower together with my family, I now look forward to welcoming guests into this special place as I enter a new chapter of life. Built originally as a shell in 2009, the house was carefully and thoughtfully completed between 2021 and 2023 using high-quality materials and modern design. It has been furnished to meet our own standards of comfort and functionality, including a fully equipped Italian-designed kitchen.
Rapunzel’s Tower has always been envisioned as a long-term family retreat and future retirement home—a place to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of the Mani. My two adult children and I share a deep connection to this home, and it is our hope that you will find everything you need here, and more, to make your stay truly exceptional.
The house is suitable for year-round use, featuring a pellet stove for cooler months. Sustainability is also important to us: the property is equipped with a photovoltaic system and generates a significant portion of its own electricity.
As our guest, you are staying in a much-loved private home. We kindly ask that you treat it with the same care and respect you would your own. Make yourself comfortable, enjoy the spectacular sunsets, and relax with a drink on the terrace, balcony, or by the grill. At the same time, we ask for consideration toward our neighbors, particularly by keeping noise to a minimum after 10 p.m.
